Montreal, Quebec, April 1, 2004 – Well-known outerwear designer Hilary Radley was awarded the distinction of best outerwear designer at the 2004 Fashion Export Awards during Toronto Fashion Week on March 22. The awards recognize design excellence, innovation, domestic and export business growth.

For the past twelve years, Hilary Radley has been the principal designer of Hilary Radley Outerwear, produced by the Utex Fashion Group.

The successful interweaving of design and business talent continues to trigger her fast-growing Canadian and U.S. divisions. Over the years she has received numerous awards, including the prestigious WoolMark Design Excellence Award.

The designer recently expanded her horizons to include fur in her collections. Denmark-based SAGA invited Radley to participate in their Fur Design Symposium, a think-tank on future fur development and innovative design. Hilary has also developed unique designs in partnership with the North American Fur Association and Furworks.
